Food in Japan, Part 2 (Day 4)

Our leisurely failure of a day started out with breakfast from 7-11.  We both got onigiri (mine with sweet bean curd, and Tiffy's with tuna and mayo).  We also got some peach tea from a carton to share, and I got a little red bean pudding thing with rice flour balls inside.  The onigiri were good, of course, and the peach tea was amazing: light, not too sweet, but still flavorful.  The red bean stuff was not so good... kind of rich and far too sweet.

Next, we pulled out the bar of red bean paste and rice flour cake that we bought the previous day at Tokyo Station.  The packaging was gorgeous, of course... so much that we almost didn't want to eat it.  There were also a billion layers, like they didn't want us to eat it, either.  XD  Finally, we opened it and cut two pieces... ah~ So good~

After the Akihabara fail, we stopped by a ramen shop close to our hostel to get ramen.  It was yummy.  Tiffy got roast pork ramen, and I got ramen with a miso soup base.  Tiffy's was pretty much a bowl of noodles with a bunch of pork slices on top, and a little bit of veggies at the bottom.  Mine had a little pork, some other veggies, and... corn.  I don't really get it, but okay.  I don't mind, and it was too delicious to complain :3

Lastly, we had some desserts/refreshments in Harajuku after a long, sad day.  Although, there were some interesting points of the day.  Anyways, we stopped by the cafe we had gone to the first time we were in Harajuku... I actually don't know the name of the place, but they had these interesting float things.  Tiffy got honey ginger ale, and I got mixed berry soda.  Pretty good, I think.  The mixed berry soda was very light... a little too light, it didn't taste like that much, but it was otherwise yummy ^w^
