Food in Japan, Part 3

Since we went to pick up Jerry and John, we didn't grab any breakfast until we got to the station.  There was a cute pastry shop called Cafe Danmark with a lot of yummy-looking pastries, so Tiffy and I each got one.  Tiffy's was this donut-looking one with chocolate inside and mine was this crispy fried sugar donut-sort of something.  They were both pretty good ^ ^

In Harajuku, we stopped at the vending machines for drinks.  I tried this apple thing by a tea brand, but it just tasted like apple juice... well, a little like apple black tea.  Nonetheless, it was still pretty good and refreshing ^w^

For lunch, we had ramen again :3  This time we got to go to Kyushu Jangara, this one really famous and supposedly really good (according to an internet review) ramen shop.  It was crowded, and definitely some delicious stuff.  Tiffy said the bowls were smaller than yesterday's shop's, but I'm not sure... I still couldn't finish it XD  Ah, so good~  I could just eat Japanese ramen everyday forever :3  Definitely try it if you can!  Although it's a little easy to miss because it's on a 2nd floor.

After ramen, we had to separate :(  Tiffy and I stopped by our hostel and then headed for the airport/our hotel.  And lastly... dinner.  Oh, dinner.  We got dinner vouchers from the tour to Ceres, their cafe, which serves breakfast and dinner buffet-style.  It was soooo pretty, and there was SO much food.  We totally looked like tourists and little gluttons with our plates of food.  There was curry, which perked us up, this weird tofu thing in soy sauce that neither of us liked, bread rolls, lots of random stir fried foods, a good variety of drinks, and desserts.  I think that the beginning and end of that list were definitely the highlights.  The curry was wonderful, the stir fried food mostly good, and the desserts were so cute.  There was one cake decorated to look like a  watermelon, and it tasted like watermelon!  Same with a strawberry one.  There was a mango one that I thought was a lemon bar... that was good.  And an interesting looking mochi-like thing that was clear on the outside with red bean inside.
